You can get into the House Boat, Motor Boat, Speed Boat and Country Boat, from just in front of the Cottages of Illikkalam Lake Resort at Kumarakom or from any other convenient and safe places in and around Kumarakom. There is Safe, Facility for the parking of your Car in the Resort.
Premium A/C Houseboat, Check in 12 noon, Check out 9 am on the next day, Maximum 21 hours of overnight stay in the House Boat, A/C will be working from 9pm to 6am. The above cost includes taxes and all the meals such as welcome drink, lunch, evening tea/coffee with snacks, dinner, breakfast, fruits and mineral water. Four to five hours cruising through, Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom Backwaters, Midnight land, Kavanattinkara, Thanneermukkham Bund, Birds Sanctuary, Sightseeing through the lake Side Hotels/Resorts etc. OR R.block, C block and Alleppey Backwaters etc. Remaining Hours the House Boat will be stationed in the Lake (During the day time) and in the night it will be stationed on the side of a canal, in Kumarakom or at Alappuzha, There will be minimum three crews in the Houseboat; among them one person will be the Cook.This package is for up to two guests per room. Bedroom with 172 Sq.feet and also have a small dressing area.There is a split unit air conditioner and fan, attached bathroom with running hot and cold water. The Cottage is basically furnished and also with a family coat, cable TV is also provided, the door opens to a spacious sit out, facing beautiful lake vembanad ,ideal for relaxation, enjoyment, sightseeing and also for experiencing the sunset & moon set at the early morning. There is also a lawn up to the lake, just in front of the cottage for relaxation and fishing. You can also get into the Motorboat, Speedboat or Houseboat, from the Resort or from any other convenient places around Kumarakom.

Houseboat can cruise through, Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom Backwaters, Midnight land, Kavanattinkara, Thanneermukkham Bund, Birds Sanctuary, Sightseeing through the lake Side Hotels/Resorts OR R.block, C block and Alleppey Backwater,if you take the houseboat for minimum 6 hours of cruising.
Please Note
1)Lunch and evening tea/coffee with Snacks will be provided on extra charge @Rs.400 per person.
2)There will be transportation charge (Maximum Rs200 for one side for one Auto) for the up and down charges,as the houseboats may be stationed in different places in and around Kumarakom.
3) Extra Persons charge will be Rs250 for Houseboat cruising
Each houseboat is basically with a bedroom, attached bathroom, sit out/porch with few easy chairs to enjoy the sightseeing and a small kitchen and an attached bathroom for the staff. There will be minimum three crews in the Houseboat among them one person will be the cook and they are supposed to stay in the staff area of the Houseboat.
